Judy progressed though junior doctor training posts in Liverpool, Leicester and London, before taking up her current post of Consultant Haematologist in 1990.  She has also been Lead Clinician for Cancer Services since the original Calman-Hine report, firstly for Hastings and Rother NHS Trust, and then for East Sussex Hospitals Trust, following the merger with Eastbourne. She is also Trust Chemotherapy Lead and Chair of the Trust Transfusion Committee, whilst being a member of various Sussex Cancer Network Groups, including the Clinical Advisory Group, Haematology Tumour Group and Chemotherapy Group.  Outside of medicine, she is Chair of Hastings Sub-Aqua Club. Judy lives in Battle.
