Paul initially worked in computer software in space, defence and related sectors.  Following this, he built up a business in pharmaceutical services, helping drug companies to analyse clinical trials, which was then merged into a US company and subsequently sold.  He then founded a software company which provides customer relationship software to clients.  He is currently Chairman of St Michael's Hospice Development Trust and is co-opted to the Hospice Board.  Paul lives in Robertsbridge.
