Chaplain and volunteeers

The Chaplaincy Team is made up of our Chaplain and a team of Volunteers from different Faith backgrounds.  They are available to journey alongside patients and their families, to listen or talk or simply to spend time in silence.

The Chaplain / Spiritual Care Lead (The Reverend Geoff Driver) is here to serve everyone: patients, their families and friends, members of staff and volunteers. 

The Chaplain works closely with local Church Ministers and Leaders of other Faith Communities, who are always most welcome to visit Patients.

The Chaplain is very happy to bring Holy Communion to Patients at their bedside, to Anoint and offer Prayers, as requested.  Occasionally Patients request the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and the Blessing of Relationships, and this can be arranged.
