Offering a Supporting Hand

Being admitted to a Hospice, or living with a life limiting illness, can often be a difficult and emotional time for both patients and their families. 

Patient and Family Support Services are available for both our Hospice patients (including those visiting Day Therapy and those supported by Hospice at Home) and also their families.  We are able to provide emotional, spiritual and social support, as well as being alongside the person in distress or need.

The Patient and Family Support Services Team

The Patient and Family Support Services Team includes a Manager, a Social Worker, a Chaplain, as well as a Bereavement Service.  In essence, we can offer some form of support or direction for any concern which is not of a medical or nursing nature.
