As part of our flexible range of services, we offer respite care within St Michael's Hospice. You are welcome to stay for one or two weeks, on an occasional or regular basis, and enjoy our full facilities and activities.

Care is provided by our skilled and experienced nursing staff.  For the duration of your stay you will remain under the care of your own GP.  

We welcome enquiries from patients and families wanting to discuss their respite requirements.  Please call 01424 445177.  Admissions can also be arranged via your GP or District Nurse.

Charges

A weekly charge is made for this service.  However, we also have access to specific charitable funding, provided by the St Augustine's Foundation for Excellence (SAFE) which can offer financial assistance as appropriate.
