Yellow Day  - 17th June 2011

A Fun Mufti Event for all ....

For the past six years, local schools, colleges, nurseries and companies have been taking part in our very special Yellow Day. This is an opportunity for everyone to wear something yellow for the day in exchange for a donation of £1.

In 2010 we raised over £6,400 with this appeal and we would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who took part again this year. People have been wearing yellow face paint, sunshine coloured clothes and even sporting bright yellow hair in some cases! Money is still rolling in and it looks like a good amount has been raised by you all.

Next year's Yellow Day is taking place on Friday 15th June 2012 so please make a note in your diary now!

     Booker & Best enjoy              Yellow Day 2011

Booker & Best raised an amazing £416.00 by holding fun events during the day including a yellow word search, cake sale, baby photo competition and pop quiz. The generous Directors agreed to match fund their employee's hard work, enabling a fantastic £832 to be handed over.
