Yellow Day 2010

A Fun Mufti Event for all ....

For the past five years local schools, colleges and nurseries have been taking part in our very special Yellow Day. This is an opportunity for the children to wear something yellow for the day in exchange for a donation of £1. Last year we extended the appeal to local shops and businesses so that the adults could enjoy the fun too. We raised a record £7,000 with 65 groups taking part in the event.

Arrow Logo NewWe are delighted to announce that Arrow FM will be supporting us again this year. Their team will be out helping us to collect money on the day and meeting some of our supporters. With their help we are really hoping to top the amount raised last time.

Last year saw people sporting yellow face paint, sunshine coloured clothes and even bright yellow hair in some cases! For 2010 we have a Karate Club hosting a 12 hour training session and a school arranging a special yellow sleep over. Anything goes as long as it’s yellow!

If you would like to take part in Yellow Day then simply contact Julie Brett on (01424) 456380 for more information.  Alternatively download the Yellow Day Registation Form and either email it or post it to Yellow Day, St Michael's Hospice, 25 Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0LB.
