Lights of Love 2010
Lights of Love 2010A blaze of silver starsNow that the leaves are turning gold and the nights are drawing in, it is time to turn our thoughts to Lights of Love. St Michael's Hospice will once again be inviting you to take part in Lights of Love, the annual communal focus of remembrance and reflection for the communities of Hastings & Rother in December 2010. Join together with, and take strength from, others who are remembering their loved ones by dedicating a silver star as a tangible tribute to those who have so enriched our lives. We hope to enjoy five Lights of Love venues again this year:
If you are interested in receiving a Lights of Love 2010 pack (sent out in October 2010) simply email your name and address to receive a full information pack, complete with silver star. If you wish to take part in Lights of Love purely on-line, please email your name and address, together with the name of the person(s) you are commemorating and any message that you would like to be transcribed onto a star. If you would like to, you can make a donation to the Lights of Love service clearly indicating it is relating to a Lights of Love star. Stars will also be available in all St Michael's Hospice shops and the main St Michael's Reception. All the trees that you will see, festooned with lights and hung about with dedicated silver stars, have been kindly donated by Little Down Farm in Westfield. Little Down Farm have been generous supporters of Lights of Love for many years and we offer them our sincere thanks. In 2009 Little Down Farm have been awarded 'Champion Christmas Tree Grower 2009.'
