Lights of Love 2011

A blaze of silver stars - 4th December 2011

LOL Star

St Michael's Hospice is once again inviting you to take part in Lights of Love, the annual communal focus of remembrance and reflection for the communities of Hastings & Rother in December 2011.  Join together with, and take strength from, others who are remembering their loved ones by dedicating a silver star as a tangible tribute to those who have so enriched our lives.

There are six Lights of Love venues again this year at:

  1. Hastings & St Leonards
  2. Battle
  3. Bexhill
  4. Rye
  5. Ticehurst
  6. NEW FOR 2011 - Hastings Old Town

LOL tree

The last day to complete a Lights of Love form and    dedicate a star in memory of a loved one is Thursday 1st December, so pop into the Hospice reception if you can and complete a form.

If you are unable to do this please do come along to one of our services where you can make a donation and dedicate your star.  Your loved one's name will then be put in the Book of Remembrance after the Service.

All the trees that you will see, festooned with lights and hung about with dedicated silver stars, have been kindly donated by Little Down Farm in Westfield.  Little Down Farm have been generous supporters of Lights of Love for many years and we offer them our sincere thanks.  In 2009 Little Down Farm have been awarded 'Champion Christmas Tree Grower 2009.'  Click here to learn more about Little Down Farm
