St Michael's Hospice Annual Golf Day

Our third Golf Day raises £5,800!

146 golfers enjoyed playing on the superb Cooden Beach Golf Club course on 7th October, in fine, dry weather.  The team trophy was won by Gaby Hardwicke (pictured below) and Cara Sheppard from that team also won the Ladies Longest Drive trophy. 

Other trophy winners were Pat Reardon from Phipps and Co. (nearest the pin - men), Paul Nessling from Andrea Hodd Team 2 (longest drive - men), Trade Paints (2nd place team) and Andrea Hodd Team 1 (3rd place team).

The Hospice raised a wonderful £5,800 from the day.  We could not have done that without the sponsorship of Littlewood Fencing who paid for the trophies, all the hole sponsors, Cooden Beach Golf Club, raffle and auction prize donors, all the wonderful volunteers who worked so hard on the day and, of course, the generous golfers!

St Michael's Hospice Golf Day 2011

If you would like to take part in the Golf Day at the Cooden Beach Golf Club on 3rd October 2011, we are inviting teams of 4 to take part.  The cost is still £55 per person to include golf (Stableford scoring), coffee and bacon roll, goody bag and 2 course supper.  Extra dinner guests are very welcome at £18 pp. 

If your business or organisation would like to sponsor a hole at the Golf Club on the day, this will cost you £60 and you will get the opportunity to put up a banner or sign at the appropriate hole.  We are also looking for sponsors for the raffle and auction.  All sponsors, of course, get a mention in the programme!
