The Annual St Michael's Abseil

Do you think you could abseil 128" down the side of Ocean House, London Road, St Leonards on Sea?  Each year we throw down this gauntlet and each year we are suprised by the numbers of people wishing to challenge themselves and raise funds for St Michael's Hospice.   

This year we are holding the 5th sponsored 128’ abseil at Ocean House on Sunday 20th July.  There are only 100 places available and this year we expect to fill those places so it REALLY will be a case of first come first served to avoid disappointment!  Enthusiasm is far more important than experience and age is no barrier as last year two of our abseilers were octogenarians.  It costs £10 to register and a commitment to raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship.  Setting up a Just Giving sponsorship page will help with your fundraising and help is available from the fundraising office in how to set one up.  When you complete your descent you will receive a souvenir t-shirt and a round of applause from the crowd.  Ring Cheryl now on 01424 201838 or email for further information, or to register your interest.
