It is with regret that we are unable to accept the following items for re-sale in our charity shops.  We do hope that this does not prove a disappointment for anyone wishing to support St Michael’s Hospice in this way.

• Sewing machines
• Knitting machines
• Records – unless by prior arrangement
• Magazines
• Typewriters
• Soft toys – unless in brand new condition with CE label in tact
• Large exercise equipment
• Dressing tables *
• Sideboards *
• Display cabinets in excess of 6ft
• Children’s pushchairs, buggies, strollers, prams or car seats
• Wheelchairs, zimmer frames, walking sticks or commodes
• Crash helmets – including motorbike, horse riding or bicycle
• Electric blankets
• Knives of any kind
• Any food – including tinned items
• Empty tins, jars or bottles
• Tents
• Any type of pet cage
• Old hard backed suitcases
• Hardback books – unless by prior arrangement
• Bedding – including pillows and duvets unless fully laundered
• Any item with obvious damage, rust, exception wear & tear or pieces missing.
• Any soft furnishings without the appropriate fire retardant label attached
• 14” and 15” computer monitors and televisions without scart sockets
• Any real skin / fur items including coats, shoes and stoles
• Any gas appliances including Calor Gas bottles
